Hello,

I'm getting a 500 error when trying to access the image cutouts. For example, at: https://datalab.noirlab.edu/svc/cutout?col=&siaRef=c4d_180507_021738_ori.fits.fz&extn=17&POS=159.815,-0.655&SIZE=0.1,0.1&preview=true

Thanks for your help.

Hi Kathleen, thanks for reaching out. the image data archive has suffered a storage outage a few days ago, and is still recovering. Once they are back up online, you should be able to run image cutout jobs again. We don't have an hard ETA, but it should be within a few days we hope.

I the meantime, we'll put a message on our website.

Thanks,

Robert

Hi again, just to let you know that the mass store is back online and the Data Lab image cutout service is working again. Thank you for your patience. Please let is know if you encounter any problems.
Best,
Robert
Thanks. I saw the service was up early last week, but it seems to be down again now. Is there more maintenance going on?
Nevermind, it seems to be working again now.

Edit: No, sorry. I think that was due to caching on our side. It seems to be down for us still.
Hi, small addendum / possibly faster fix for your issue: if you would be willing to send us a list of files that failed for you (for instance in a simple txt file, one file per row), the Archive team offered to prioritize checking and restoring those files. If that's acceptable to you, please email the list (as an attachment) to datalab@noirlab.edu, with an appropriate subject line.

Best regards,
Robert
