I am trying to install astro-datalabs on my Windows machine and it does not want to install because pycurl is not supported on Windows. Is there a work around to this?

Hi, thank you for reaching out. The 'datalab' command line client is unfortunately not officially supported on Windows boxes. Short of building the pycurl dependency from source under Windows, I don't think there's is a supported binary version of it out there.

Internally, we will check if pycurl could be made an optional dependency in 'datalab' (with reduced functionality as a result).

Best,

If you haven't done so already I'd suggest conda in windows possibly using the conda-forge channel.
