Notebook cant connect to the server

Question

After logging in, on starting up the the introductory notebook Data_Lab_Interface_Introduction.ipynb, I get an error "A connection to the notebook server could not be established." and the kernel fails to load. This is for a new datalab account. Is there some extra authentication I need to do?

Could you please try again and if you still have problems, contact datalab@noao.edu?  There shouldn't be a need for any extra authentication, however it would help to know which account name you were using so we can check the logfiles.
