I am wondering if there is a reason why the same query takes much longer in DR11 than in DR9.

For example, the following query takes only a few seconds when querying ls_dr9.tractor, but takes much longer (and often crashes) when querying ls_dr11.tractor.

SELECT * FROM ls_dr9.tractor
WHERE (
    q3c_radial_query(ra, dec, 354.5221176, 33.7295074, 0.0166)
    AND "type" != 'PSF'
    AND "type" != 'DUP'
    AND "ref_cat" != 'PSF'
    AND "ref_cat" != 'DUP'
    AND "maskbits" <= 4096
    AND fiberflux_g >= 0.132
)

Is there a known reason for this significant difference in query performance between the two data releases?

Hi,
Table ls_dr11.tractor is currently under maintenance. There is a warning in our main portal mentioning it.

Once that banner is gone, you can safely query it again.

We're sorry for the inconvenience!
