Xmatch table between ls_dr8_tractor and gaia_edr3

are you planning to provide a cross-match table between gaia_edr3 and ls_dr8_tractor?

If yes, when will it be available?

Hi Sibilla,

thanks for reaching out. We made the general decision to (for now) not re-doing already existing xmatch tables against gaia_dr2 to gaia_edr3, except for new datasets we ingest, simply because of the available person-power. We will re-do them to gaia_dr3 when that becomes available.
But, we will make an exception here (we don't get such requests every day ;-)), and will be generating a `ls_dr8.tractor__gaia_edr3__gaia_source` x-match table. Please give us a few days and I'll ping again here when it is ready.

Hi Sibilla,

the two reverse cross-match tables

ls_dr8.x1p5__tractor__gaia_edr3__gaia_source

and

gaia_edr3.x1p5__gaia_source__ls_dr8__tractor

are now available in the Data Lab system. Give them a go a let us know if you encounter any problems.
